Sandra Spicer

I earned my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M, which served as the foundation for my successful career in education and athletics. My teaching and coaching journey began at La Vernia ISD, where I spent five years refining my skills, building strong relationships with students, and cultivating a deep commitment to their success. I then transitioned to Northeast ISD (NEISD) as an Athletic Coordinator, where I furthered my expertise in leadership and teamwork while also earning a master's degree in education from Lamar University.

During my time at NEISD, I gained invaluable experience as both an educator and administrator, setting high standards for myself and my teams. My career has always been driven by the belief in the transformative power of education and athletics. Today, I serve as the Department Head of Physical Education at Judson ISD (JISD), where I am also the Head Girls’ Cross-Country Coach and Assistant Coach for Track & Field. I specialize in cross-country, basketball, and track, coaching athletes at a highly competitive level while fostering an environment of growth, discipline, and camaraderie.

Throughout my career, I have honed my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, all while maintaining an unwavering dedication to the growth and well-being of my students. As an educator, coach, and administrator, I am deeply committed to serving as a role model for both students and staff, and I remain passionate about making a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
