The Patriots took on Pflugerville on 5 January 2024 as they started Championship Bracket play in the SAISD Tournament. The Patriots came out with a desire to close out the day on a positive note and started off strong against Pflugerville. The Patriots looked crisp as they found a way to move the ball forward with quick passing as they kept Pflugerville on their heels. The Patriots played Pflugerville back and forth in a hard fought game. The Patriots unrelenting pressure on Pflugerville caused the goalie to make a mistake and the Patriots were able to capitalize to take the lead. The Patriots went into halftime leading 1-0. The second half was a battle between both teams as each was able to pressure the other. The Patriot defense would come under fire in the opening minutes of the second half but would hold fast for the remainder of the game. The Patriots continued to press the advantage forcing Pflugerville to change tactics but the Patriot defense responded and kept Pflugerville off the board. The final score was 1-0 in favor of the Patriots. Rodrigo Lozano-Munoz had the lone goal. Anthony Arreola continues with another clean sheet. The Patriots next face Taft in the championship game to finish out the Championship Bracket on 5 January 2024 at Alamo Stadium.
