On January 24th the Patriot Swim Team traveled to the Bill Walker Pool to participate in the district meet. Both our boys and girls 200 medley relay and 200 free relay qualified to go to regionals. In the individual events the Patriots had some good swims and Landon Tedrow qualified for regionals in the 200 Free and the 500 Free. On February 7th the Patriots participated in the Regional Preliminaries at the SW Aquatic center. Both the boys and girls 200 medley relay and 200 free relay qualified for the regional finals. Landon Tedrow also had strong swims in the 200 free and the 500 free to move on to the finals as well. On February 8th the patriots returned to the SW Aquatic center to participate in the regional finals. The boys 200 medley relay made up of Emiliano and Francisco Covarrubias, Diego Infante and Landon Tedrow finished 12th in the region. In the boys 200 free relay made up of the same team members, finished in 15th place. The girls 200 medley relay made up of Alorah Beck, Amilia Walsh, Ava Jansen, and Myriskah Walker finished in the top 15 as well. In the individual races Landon Tedrow finished in 12th place in the 200 free and 11th place in the 500 free. Very proud of how hard the Patriot swim team worked all season long. Great season Patriots!
