The Patriots took on Judson on 12 January 2023 during the first day of the Smithson Valley Ranger Classic. The Patriots started the game pressuring the Judson defense early with multiple attacks on the net but the Judson defense held strong. Judson would find offensive pressure of their own and it would be a tough fought game with both teams trying to break through the defenses. The Patriots however would be first to strike and take the lead. Judson would capitalize off of a corner kick to bring the game back to an even score. The Patriots would close out the first half with multiple shots on goal but would fail to find the back of the net. The Patriots went into halftime tied 1-1. The Patriots came out in the second half determined to step up to the task of regaining control of the game. The Patriots started to set the tempo and take back the lead after executing a stunning penalty kick awarded after a foul in the box. Judson would try to even it up but the defensive line was up to the task of eliminating the Judson opportunities. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Patriots. Sebastian Martin and Rodrigo Lozano-Munoz each had 1 goal. Ramiro Garza had 1 assist. Dustin Ynman had 5 saves. The Patriots face Reagan next in the tournament on 13 January 2023.
