The Patriots took on Marble Falls on 17 January 2023 in their home opener. The Patriots came out in the first half playing hard against Marble Falls in a back-and-forth battle which provided opportunities for both teams. Marble Falls would strike first to take the lead. The Patriots would continue to find attacking opportunities but could not finish on the execution. Marble Falls would find a seam in the Patriot defense to add one more to their tally. The Patriots would find some momentum in the closing minutes of the half as they cut the lead in half off of a penalty kick. The Patriots went into halftime down 2-1. The second half proved much of the same as both teams battled to find the back of the net. The Patriots continued to play hard as they looked to capitalize on various opportunities that they created. The Marble Falls defense was able to neutralize the attacks, however, Marble Falls created opportunities on the counterattack. The Patriots defense would find themselves pressed and Marble Falls would get two more and hold on to the lead. The final was 4-1 in favor of Marble Falls. Rodrigo Lozano-Munoz had 1 goal.
