The Patriots took on Weiss on 20 January 2023 in Pflugerville. The Patriots started off the game with high energy and were able to put pressure on Weiss. The two teams battled back and forth with both creating opportunities. The Patriot played a stellar first half minimizing the quality chances from Weiss. Weiss would capitalize off a mistake to take the lead. The Patriots would continue to fend off attacks but would allow one more before the half. The Patriots went into halftime down 2-0. The Patriots came out and had to weather the attacks from Weiss as the second half opened up. The Patriots defense would start to feel the pressure as Weiss would score a goal early in the second half, however unfortunate mistakes by the Patriots would allow Weiss to take control of the game. Weiss would take advantage of the errors and put four more goals in the net. The Patriots tried to find a way back into the game but the effort would come too late to stem the tide.
