The Patriots took on Canyon on 21 February 2023 in New Braunfels. The Patriots came out strong and controlled the ball to start things off but had trouble executing on multiple scoring opportunities. Canyon pressed the Patriots defense and were able to capitalize on mistakes from the Patriots scoring four goals . The Patriots went into halftime down 4-0. The Patriots came out in the second half and were able to continue with attacks against Canyon however the Canyon goalie kept the Patriots off of the board. Canyon was able to capitalize on a few errors by the Patriots and increase their tally by another two goals. The final score was 6-0 in favor of Canyon. The Patriots next face Champion as they continue the second half of district play at home on 24 February 2023.
