The VMHS Patriots competed in the Judson ISD Invitational this past weekend where we finished 2-1-1. The Patriots Tied Brennan 6-6 on Thursday, lost to Southwest 7-1 on Friday, and beat Madison 7-6 & Southwest Legacy 6-2 on Saturday. Highlights from the weekend include Freshman Elijah Juarez going 1-3 and Driving in the game tying run against Madison. Sophmore Izik Hui making a diving catch against Legacy to help secure the game. Senior John Shollenbarger giving up zero Earned Runs against Brennan, and Junior Anthony Ray hitting a triple against Southwest Legacy. The Patriots look ahead to a Non-district game against McCollum 2/27 & North East/Comal tournament March 2-4. Go Pats!
