The Patriots took on Pieper on 28 February 2023 at Pieper. The Patriots came out playing determined and were ready to take on the high powered Pieper team right from the start. The Patriot defense had to weather the storm early against sustained offensive pressure from Pieper. The Patriots would find their game after the first ten minutes and would come to life pressuring the Pieper defense. The teams would both showcase their defenses as they would trade shots on goal. The Patriots would strike first off of a corner to take the lead. Pieper would create their own opportunity to tie the game up before the half. The Patriots went into the half tied 1-1. The Patriots came out in the second trying to maintain the tempo from the first half but Pieper would not give in turning the tables on the Patriots as they scored the go ahead goal. The Patriots continued to press but Pieper held firm, scoring five more to close out the game. The final score was 6-1 in favor of Pieper. Rodrigo Lozano-Munoz had 1 goal and Elijah Lopez had one 1 assist. Jorge Barragan recorded 11 saves on the night. The Patriots next face Smithson Valley at home on 3 March 2023.
