The Patriots came out in the second half with renewed vigor and pressed Smithson Valley to start the half. The Patriots fought furiously in the second half with numerous opportunities but could not break through the Smithson Valley defense. Smithson Valley was able to capitalize on mistakes from the Patriots to take the lead. Smithson Valley would add two more but the Patriots fought relentlessly until the end. The final score was 3-0 in favor of Smithson Valley. The Patriots next face Seguin at Seguin on 7 March 2023.
