The Patriots took on Taft on 6 January 2024 in the Championship game to close out the SAISD Tournament. The Patriots came out in the first half and were battling back and forth as they tried to get momentum started. Taft would pressure the Patriots back line with multiple attacks but the Patriot defense would not break. The Patriots would go into halftime tied 0-0. The second half would see the Patriot offense find momentum to apply pressure on the Taft back line. Taft would also find some offensive pressure and would be able find its way through the Patriots defense to score the opening goal and take the lead. The Patriots would not go quietly and continued to find ways through the Taft defense and were rewarded with a goal to tie the game. Taft would continue to fight and the Patriot defense held the line to keep Taft off the board in regulation time. The game would be decided in a penalty kick shootout. Taft would have luck go their way to take the win in the shootout. The final score in the shootout was 3-2 in favor of Taft. Rodrigo Lozano-Munoz would have 1 goal during regulation and 1 goal in the shootout. Izaiah Garza would have 1 assist and 1 goal in the shootout. Anthony Arreola had 7 saves.
