The Patriots took on Jefferson on 11 January 2024 in the second game of the day at the Harlandale Tournament. The Patriots came out looking to bounce back from the previous game and started to try to set the pace early to force Jefferson to play defensively as the Patriots attempted to press the back line. Jefferson would not back down and would answer with their own offensive pressure themselves however the Patriot defense would weather the storm early on. Jefferson would be the first to strike off a miscommunication on the back line. The Patriots went into halftime down 1-0. The Patriots showed grit in the second half as they fought off multiple attacks from Jefferson but then were able to win momentum as the Patriots found a way to flip the field. Jefferson would continue to have chances however and would score off of an unfortunate play by the Patriots. The Patriots would refuse to give in and fought for every play. The Patriots tenacity was rewarded as they were able to find the net as they mounted pressure on the Jefferson back line. The Patriots were unable to find the equalizer as they sent a flurry of shots on the goal. The final score was 2-1 in favor of Jefferson. Ramiro Garza had the lone goal. Anthony Arreola and Jorge Barragan combined for 11 saves. The Patriots will play their final game in pool play against Laredo Martin on 12 January 2024.
