Brandeis 1.11.2024


Our Patriots took on the Brandeis Broncos in their first matchup of the day in the Northeast ISD Soccer Showcase.  Brandeis pressured the Patriot defense early by netting a goal, and making it an early 1-0 deficit.  The Patriots settled in on defense, with Janelle “Mikey” Scott leading the way with some key saves.  The Bronco offense found the back of the net one more time, making it a 2-0 lead going into halftime.  The Patriots would come out in the second half inspired, with Reagan Allen netting a goal and cutting down the Brandeis lead to one.  The match would continue with some strong defensive play by both teams.  Brandeis made a last minute push, but the Patriot defense held strong.  The final was 2-1 in favor of Brandeis.  The Patriots will take on John Paul II tomorrow at noon.
