Veterans Memorial Patriots got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Judson committed an error, and Elijah Nash grounded out, each scoring one run. The Patriots scored six runs on four hits in the bottom of the second inning. Elijah Juarez's big hit down the right field line scored two runs, Joseph Ulrich doubled, scoring one run, Nash drew a walk, scoring one run, and Domenic Basile singled, scoring two runs. The Patriots added two runs in the third. Nash singled, making the score 10-0. Ulrich started on the hill for your Patriots; The righty gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking none. Recording the first No-Hitter in school history!
