The Patriots took on McCollum on 4 October 2024 at D.W. Rutledge Stadium in their opening district game. The Patriots were ready to play some football as they came off a two week rest and were looking to set the tone for district play as they faced off against McCollum. The Patriots received the ball first and immediately drove down the field and kicked a field goal to put the first points on the board. The Patriot defense came out on the field looking to keep the momentum rolling for the Patriots. The defense stifled the McCollum offense which led to another three touchdowns for the Patriots in the first half. The Patriots went into halftime leading 24-0. The second half was more of the same for the Patriots. The offense was able to slice through the McCollum defense and continued to put points on the board. The defense found an answer for the McCollum offensive adjustments throughout the third period. McCollum was able to find some points however at the end of the final period of play. The final was 44-14 in favor of the Patriots. Dallas Harrell had 2 passing touchdowns as he connected with Nate Ortega for a 65 yard touchdown reception and a 24 yard touchdown reception. Ben Toney had a 93 yard touchdown run. Bryce Boden had 2 rushing touchdowns for 7 yards and 10 yards. Isaiah Francis had a pick 6 for a defensive touchdown. Rafael Nunez had a 24 yard field goal. Nate Ortega also led the team with tackles on the defensive side of the ball. The Patriots next face Tivy in district play on 11 October at Antler Stadium in Kerrville, TX.
