The Patriots took on Alamo Heights on 18 October 2024 at D.W. Rutledge Stadium. The Patriots were tasked with a difficult challenge as they faced a district juggernaut in the Alamo Heights Mules. The Patriots felt confident as they took the field looking to take down the top team in the district. Alamo Heights was caught off guard as the Patriots scored quickly to take the lead. The Alamo Heights defense however made the necessary adjustments to slow the explosiveness of the Patriot offense and would keep the Patriots out of their rhythm as they denied them opportunities at every turn. The Patriot defense found themselves with their backs against the wall and even though they found a way to slow the Alamo Heights offense they could not hold them out of the endzone. The Patriots went into halftime trailing 23-12. The second half saw the Patriots make some adjustments to gain positive yards but the Alamo Heights defense would only bend but not break during the third quarter. The defense continued to be challenged by the lethal Alamo Heights offense and the Mules would not be denied the endzone. The fourth quarter saw the Patriots come to life with them putting points up on the board however it was too little too late. The final was 37-26 in favor of Alamo Heights. Dallas Harrell had 2 rushing touchdowns and 1 passing touchdown with a 75 yard pass to Nate Ortega. Trecorrus Jordan had 1 rushing touchdown. Payton Beach was the defensive player of the game. The Patriots next face Boerne on 25 October in district play in Boerne at the Boerne ISD Complex.
