The Patriots took on Medina Valley on 2 January 2025 in their second game of the day at the SAISD Tournament. The Patriots came out determined to keep the momentum going and applied pressure to Medina Valley from the very start. The Patriots found a tough opponent in Medina Valley and both teams applied pressure offensively. Medina Valley would press the back line but the strong Patriot defense would not break. The Patriots would mount offensive attacks however Medina Valley remained strong and continuously fended off the Patriot attack. The Patriots would be able to get on the board first off of a penalty kick, however Medina Valley would answer with a goal of their own shortly afterwards. The Patriots went into halftime tied 1-1. The Patriots came out in the second half strong and would keep the ball in the Medina Valley half as they tested the Medina Valley defense. The Patriots created multiple opportunities but in the end could not score a goal before time ran out. The Patriot defense continued to try and hold the line as they would try to fend off the Medina Valley offensive pressure but in the end the Medina Valley attack would be too much as they netted two more goals to close out the game. The final score was 3-1 in favor of Medina Valley. Ramiro Garza had the lone goal. Javier Ortiz had 6 saves. The Patriots next play South San in the SAISD Tournament on 3 January 2025 to finish out pool play.
